What is on your plant wish list? What is it that you're looking for? I'll be going to Florida sometime soon and on the hunt for some new and interesting things. I would love to get everyone's opinion.

Below I have my 2 basic soil mixes.
- Aroids =most philodendron, Monstera, epipremnum, prefer to not stay too wet. So they get little to no peat moss, more bark/pearlite to help keep moisture but not smother.
-6 parts potting soil
-2 parts perlite
-2 parts Coco choir/pine bark nuggets
(I often put Syngonium in between the 2 categories)
- Alocasia, Colicasia and begonia have roots that thrive in a consistently moist environment. Never a bog environment. That standing water can be dangerous.
(Carnivorous like bogs😂 also-Moist does NOT = Wet )
-5 parts potting so
-1 part peat moss
-2 parts perlite
-2 parts Coco choir/ pine bark small nuggets

Lighting means everything.
I sunstressed most of my Syngonium by neglecting to adjust the lights in the fall. They were way to close. After correcting the light distance I SCALPED them lol I'm so glad I did!

Right= scalped 1 month ago. In my opinion, this color is almost perfect. ❤️
Left=not scalped(control)

I'll be doing a inventory update soon ❤️

Light sensitivity in some plants will make where you place your begonia/Syngonium, even some philodendrons more or less vibrant!
