And that’s a wrap on kidding season! 🍼🐐

We saved the best for last here at At Just Kidding Goat Farm. On Thursday, Evie officially outdid herself by bringing three beautiful triplets into the world! And just yesterday, our first-time mama, Gracie, handled things like a pro, welcoming a big, healthy baby boy.

With these final arrivals, our 2026 kidding season total is officially:
🐐 22 babies! (12 boys and 10 girls) ✨

It’s been a wild, sleepless, and incredibly rewarding season. We even have one little "house guest" right now—our sweet bottle baby is tucked away inside with us and doing great! 🏠🍼

A Busy Morning in the Kidding Barn! 🐐✨

Things got a little wild at the farm today! I headed out for my morning count and was greeted by a fun surprise: both Maggie and Oreo gave us twins that are matching sets!

Oreo delivered two beautiful little girls (one buckskin and one all-black), and Maggie followed up with two handsome boys—matching the exact same color patterns!

Just when I thought the excitement was settled, I found our first-time mama, Belle, with a tiny, weak little girl. She was perfectly cleaned but clearly hadn't had a chance to nurse yet. It was all hands on deck! I stepped in to get the little one some colostrum and electrolytes to get her strength up. With some patience and a huge assist from Cameron, Belle finally stood, and we got the baby nursing.

Phew! “Have goats, they say” 😵‍💫 and today is a perfect reminder of why. That brings us to a grand total of 18 babies (including the one little house guest!) and we only have two mamas left to go. Everyone is resting up now, and I’m just happy to see them all doing well!

Barn Math is getting tricky! 🧮

With Summer’s twins arriving yesterday, we’ve officially lost count of the chaos, but the nursery is full and the hearts are fuller.

As promised—meet Dandis twins! We were blessed with a beautiful boy and girl, and they are already keeping us on our toes.

With these two arriving, our baby count is officially up to 12 kids! It is a full house (and a loud one) over here, especially with 2 of them being bottle babies who are never shy about letting us know when it's mealtime.

We still have 6 more mamas to go, so the kidding season excitement is far from over. Stay tuned for more updates and, of course, more baby goat photos!

Double Trouble & Triple Surprises! 🍼🐐
We went from "yay" to "oh my goodness" real quick around here!

Last night, Dandi kicked things off by welcoming two beautiful babies into the world. (Pics coming soon) We were still celebrating those two when we walked out this morning to a huge surprise—our first-time mama, Stormy, had triplets! 😱 (Yes, more triplets! That makes 3 so far)

Being a new mom can be overwhelming, and unfortunately, Stormy has decided she only has room for one, rejecting her two little bucklings. After a very frantic morning of warming them up, getting their sugar levels where they need to be, and patiently starting them on their first bottles, these boys are doing much better!

These two sweet bottle baby bucklings are available now! Since they need a little extra TLC and regular feedings, they are ready to go to their new homes immediately to start bonding with their new families.

If you’ve been looking for a baby or a pair of sweet, hand-raised babies to add to your herd, these boys are going to be incredibly bonded to their humans.

🐐 New Arrivals at the Farm!
Our herd just grew by four tiny hooves! We welcomed two adorable bucklings yesterday, and we are officially obsessed.

With these two joining the crew, we have 3 mamas down and 8 more to go! It’s turning into quite the "boys' club" over here—our current tally is 5 boys and 2 girls. Stay tuned as we continue through kidding season. There is plenty more cuteness on the way!

The spring baby boom is officially in full swing here at the farm! We just welcomed two more healthy kids to the crew, and my heart is officially full (and my hands are officially busy).

That makes two mamas down and five babies total so far! We still have nine more mamas to go, so the cuteness is really just getting started.

There is nothing quite like the energy of the farm during kidding season—it’s a lot of work, but watching these little ones find their legs makes it all worth it.

Welcome to the world, Penny! 🎀

There is a new face on the farm, and she is already stealing everyone’s hearts. Meet Penny, our newest "mini"—a beautiful baby Belted Galloway. Between that sweet face and those incredible lashes, she knows exactly how to work the camera!

We are so in love with this little lady. Stay tuned for more updates as she settles in and starts exploring.

It’s officially "kidding" season! 🐐✨

While the cows have been busy keeping us on our toes with new calves lately, it was finally the goats' turn to join the party. They certainly didn't hold back, we started off the season with a bang thanks to a surprise set of triplets!

There is nothing quite like the energy of three new babies hitting the ground at once. Mom is doing great, and these little ones are already finding their legs.

🐮 Morning Shenanigans with the Minis!

The coffee hasn’t even kicked in yet, but the herd is already operating at 100% silliness today. Our mini Highlands seem to think they’re playing a high-stakes game of hide-and-seek!

Duncan decided the best way to start the day was by burying his face (and those iconic bangs) directly into a fresh hay bale. If he can’t see us, we can’t see him... right? 🙈

Cindy, never one to be left out, skipped the snacks and went straight for the interior design. She’s currently claiming the "throne" right in the middle of the hay ring. 👑

It’s hard to get chores done when you’re laughing this much. Who knew hay could be this entertaining?

Fun Fact: Highland cows are known for being exceptionally social and curious—clearly, Duncan and Cindy are taking their roles as "Farm Entertainers" very seriously!
