We have been spending the last few days getting all our fields ready for the fall. Mowing down warm season cover crops to make way for cool season vegetables. Clipping all the pastures and stockpiling hay.

It’s a tricky time of year, 94 degrees and we’re dreaming about winter.

Although you can’t plow a garden by turning it over in your mind, you can come up with a pretty good game plan.

I’ve been getting all of our equipment dialed in for fall plantings. By ensuring everything is in working order and the spacings are correct, we can drastically cut back on labor and weeding in the field.

Shout out to Nate Heber Growing Equipment for delivering these Jang seeders and to Tennessee Dept. of Agriculture TAEP program for making it possible.
