Hiring a full-time all-around hand for our ranch near and in the Black Hills of South Dakota. We are a cow/calf and stocker operation. Job includes, but not limited to, feeding/calving/caring for cowherd, haying, fixing fence, some farming. Applicant must be self motivated, dependable, honest. Must know how to ride as much work is done horseback but this is not a cowboy only position. Mechnical aptitude is a plus. Housing provided and a negotiated number of personal horses are allowed. Getting a good start on roundup. Trailed one permit down about halfway home, where they will stay a couple weeks and then we will trail them the rest of the way.
It’s my favorite day of roundup, as the conditions make it perfect for the grandkids to tag along! So thankful for great help and wonderful family!
Now onto the next couple permits this week!
