That's a wrap! Wow, words really escape me today. It will hit harder in the days and weeks to come I'm sure, and the words will flood my mind. My home away from home. Much love to all the Trivia Project regulars and one offs. Much love to the Wu-Tang Wednesday fans and family. Much love for the love.

Today is the day, Saturday Aug 23rd, the final Saturday of service at The Iowa Project Brewing Co. Doors open early at 11am for those looking for a spot to watch the Iowa State game. Please stop in to hangout, have a beer or just to sign our TIPBCO sign to commemorate this amazing endeavor. Other notes:

- BYO drinking thingy! Stein, chalice, coffee mug or Tupperware dish. We can’t keep what you don’t drink so bring your favorite thingy and let’s clean house.

- Bring all your growlers to fill! In addition to BOGO 4-Pack, we’ll be doing “Make me an offer” growler fill. Again, we got beer to move so bring your growlers in make me an offer to negotiate your best price for each fill.

- All merch including must go! Tshirts, up for sale! Any and all branded glassware, up for sale! Tap handles, up for sale! Hats, up for sale. And everything is at a reduced price.

Most if not all staff will be around at some point today so come hangout with us, share your favorite memories of TIPBCO and let’s share some love.

It’s been a beautiful journey and we’re glad that you all chose to be a part of it. Whether you came for the beer, came for our amazing staff or just needed a change of pace, every single one of you brought something special to this place and we will cherish those memories forever. Thank you for the Community Days, both the party and the panicked clean up. Thanks for all the amazing Trivia Night with MC Jake and Ms Nea aka Ned. Thanks fir the Mario Cart and bar-top shotguns and late night Gilberto’s. We know it’s hard to say ‘goodbye’, so lets just say ‘Cheers!”.

Don’t forget we will be open Wednesday, Aug 27th for one final night of The Trivia Project. We’re working on a special edition full of fun and tricky quizzes. We’ll see you soon.

TIPBCO IS CLOSING

It’s with heavy hearts we announce the closing of The Iowa Project Brewing Company. After 5 years, 3 months and 4 days TIPBCO will close its door once and for all on Wednesday Aug 27th. We cannot thank you enough for your support and all the great memories you’ve given us over the years.

When we started TIPBCO our mission was to cultivate community through shared experience and by sharing our passion for craft beer. To create a safe space welcoming to all. A place for people to be themselves, create friendships and support one another. Above all else, you, our community was the mission and we/you nailed it. Thank you!

To our staff: We could not do this without you. Thank you being the life blood of our brand. The heart beat of the taproom. We gave you the reigns and you gave us everything. Thank you for the endless support, friendship and being TIPBCO.

But alas, like all good things, this too must come to an end. Join us for the next two weeks as close this chapter at TIPBCO. Starting this week we’ll have BOGO 4 packs as we try to move through our remaining inventory of cans. Then Saturday Aug 23rd join us for one last time the weekend bash (details to come). And to wrap it up, come out Wednesday night for the final night of The Trivia Project.

Start your day off right with a Sandy Shandy. This unique raddler pulls from our Pils based and is then blended with lemon and raspberry. Full flavored but light and crisp, fruity and yummy. We’ll see you at noon.

June 16th 2020: Science

The count down to celebrating 5 years at TIPBCO is inching closing. This here is a picture of a hydrometer that has always been a fun topic of conversation in the taproom. For nearly 5 years anytime we we’re taking samples we’d get someone asking “whats that” to which we’d endlessly answer science. Not “Science” to be rude but simply to reflect the fun brewing at TIPBCO represents. While brewing can be technical, we’re just making beer. And beer is fun. So Cheers! To fun!
