Last weekend we headed to a small show put on by the Huron County Rabbit Breeders. Sawyer took all his junior Holland Lops to get some first time on the table remarks. They did very well with lots of promising comments. Griffin's Dutch were without much competition but he was excited to bring home a bunch of cutting boards 😂
We enjoyed just hanging out with our bunny besties and for once got to sit and relax at a show!

Holland Highlights:
Solid Jr Doe Bateson's Poptart took 1st both shows and was best opposite variety solid show B!
Broken Jr Buck Bateson's Beckett took 1st both shows
Broken Jr Buck Bateson's Eliot took second both shows behind his brother Beckett

Dutch Details:
Iris was BOV black both shows and BOS show A
Weaver's Todd took BOV gray, BOB show A, and BOS show B
Bateson's Millie took BOV gray and BOB show B and a BOSV show A
Hooper's Travis was BOV both shows

OSRBA weekend! Our Dutch from Bateson's, Millie took BOSV Gray in shows B and C, and Travis took BOSV Blue in show A. Sawyer brought down a handful of his Holland Lop juniors, which all placed well towards the top of their classes, including a first-place broken junior buck for Bateson's Louis. We loved hanging out with all our rabbit family ❤️.

We've returned from "a fantastic place called Wisconsin!" (points if you know the movie reference)

🐰Griffin's National Dutch Show 2026 highlights:
- All but two of the rabbits brought to the show placed in the top ten for their classes
- He had five top five in their class placings
- He was awarded his top 20 sweepstakes award
- He took second place in the judging competition
- He was crowned 2026 Dutch Duke!

We had a great time with all our Dutch friends and taking in some Wisconsin culture 🧀

Springfield Tulips & Torts show 3/29

We didn't take as many pictures (I think we were a bit tired from the Urbana show the day before).

It was BBMOLLY's chance to shine with a BOSB in show A and BOB in show B. She may be getting on in age and she still absolutely hates being shown (she's a nervous girl and she's just rather snuggle than pose) but she's still a phenomenal little rabbit. Unfortunately we have yet to get a litter from her and that's going to be our focus. Hopefully with warmer weather she might be more agreeable... Crossing fingers.
BBDASH, BBPEARL, Gootee's Stitch and Gootee's Velma all did great as well picking up variety and group wins. All the Mini Rex girls will now be focused on breeding and babies as we haven't had much luck in that department recently.

Hollands had a weird day... Placings were all over the place and inconsistent but you'll have those days. A few class/top of class wins here and there.

Dutch -
Good class placings for most of Griffin's animals. A BOSV Blue in show A.

Biggest Dutch win of the day was Griffin getting a few new rabbits who have now all been named and settled in ❤️
