Our brewer, Franklin, has spent years perfecting the highly technical, extremely complicated process of turning grain into Cabo San Lager while also standing around a giant kettle saying things like: "Yep, looks beer-ish."

Today we're cooking up the grains before they make their journey to the fermenting tank, where they magically transform into the cold, delicious lager you'll soon be enjoying.

So if anyone asks what we're doing, tell them: "We're basically making liquid happiness."

🌾🚚 GRAIN DAY AT BEARDED DOG! 🍺🐶

Some people haul groceries. Some haul golf clubs.

We haul hundreds of pounds of malt and call it a good day.

The Bearded Dog mobile grain silo made another successful run, and the ingredients for our next round of beers have officially arrived. Now comes the fun part: turning all these bags into cold pints.

If everything goes according to plan, this pile of grain will soon become your excuse for staying out "just one more beer."

It's FRIDAYYYYYYY!! What all does that mean? It means SIX solid hours (12 PM to 6 PM) of the happiest damn times you can have on this dreary, rainy day. Seriously, you can't do anything outside besides being miserable and complaining about the weather. Just as well be at Bearded Dog Taproom complaining about the weather, but with a Happy Hour drink in your hand!

A HUGE shout out to Eric Johannsen for making this video for us! He is a huge promoter of Spencer and the businesses within. If you haven't seen his videos, you're missing out!

Exciting day today! Our first Happy Hour running from 4 PM to 6 PM. All beers and ciders on tap are $1 off, all cocktails are $1 off, and select items in our merchandising fridge are $1 off!

AND we have our logo and name on the front of our building! Thank you to SS Collision for doing such an amazing job! It is awesome to have such a great small business that is local. They are easy to work with, respond quickly, and do 5 star work!
