Happy Memorial Day neighbors! Come and get the goodies… Some great stuff on my shelves, plus, if you’re so inclined, there are lots of things in the expired food bin, which is the smaller of the 2 bins! Remember… Food is love! 💚💚💚

Good morning, friends and neighbors! There are some fun goodies on my shelves right now, including snacks! Stop on by and try something new!

I also just want to remind everybody that this community resource should be one that we treat with dignity and respect. This includes not donating things that are partially or almost completely eaten or used. We have had a significant increase in donations lately of half-bags of food or half-containers of hygiene supplies… Even including an almost completely empty package of something.

Just like we wouldn’t want to go to the grocery store and find items that were half eaten on the shelves, those using the food stand aren’t interested in something that’s already been opened and potentially tampered with.

If you would like to give away something like that, you can use the community gifting with gratitude (formerly Buy Nothing) platform, where folks can know where it comes from. 

We thank you for all of your generosity and care. Thank you for respecting our little free food pantry and all of the lovely neighbors who use it!

Happy spring friends and neighbors! My shelves are popping… Lots of goodies, including snacks, as well as healthy stuff! Come and get it! After all, food is love! 💚💚💚

Good evening, friends and neighbors! My caretaker recently had shoulder surgery which has left her down and out. My other caretaker had to travel for work so... They haven't been as able to take care of me as usual. If you come by and notice I'm a mess, we all want to apologize. There has been a bit of disruption within my shelves and my caretakers haven't been able to straighten things up. If you visit and you notice it's a mess and want to take a minute to make it look nicer, we would really appreciate it!

My caretakers tried to do their best job, but sometimes moments are tough and we need our community to step up and help. Please keep me neat, follow the organizational tags on the shelves which tell you what goes where, and only leave the things that we take, which includes food, hygiene, and home cleaning supplies. Increasingly people have been leaving things that do not fit those parameters, including reams of paper that take up a lot of room in our stand, home decor like tchotchkes and party supplies, toys, and clothing. These things just don't fit in our stand, taking up the precious space that is intended for foodstuffs . Please respect my boundaries and donate those other items where they belong.
