With the growth of the alpaca market domestically, alpaca product and garment are more available to the consumer. Alpaca product manufacturers rely on large amounts of fiber to produce the goods that are in demand. From day one, we have focused on breeding top quality alpacas, which produce an abundance of fleece that is perfect for the textile industry. Alpaca fiber comes in a variety of differen

t colors. It is five times warmer and more durable than sheep wool fiber. It is also lightweight and contains no oils or lanolin, which makes it naturally hypoallergenic. Fibers contain microscopic air pockets giving it lightness high thermal capacity. Those who own and wear Alpaca garments have been inspired to use superlatives such as “finer than cashmere . . ." "smoother than silk . . ." "softer than cotton . . ." "warmer than goose down or the new synthetic fabrics like Gortex," and "breathes better than thermal knits."
