NEW MONTGOMERY COUNTY OFFICE OF ANIMAL SERVICES 7-page license application has been received by MOCO Equestrian Facilities and Stables. After we get over our shell shock about how onerous it is, starting with a site plan that will cost about $50,000, It has been recommended we contact Caroline Hairfield, Executive Director, Office of Animal Services directly with our questions and/or concerns. And don't forget to contact your local MOCO council member, perhaps all of them. Boarders and friends and family are also encouraged to contact these government folks if you care about the continuance of Horse facilities. Their demands cannot possibly be met by most of us.
