When I first got into goats, I purchased Sioux (first picture) and boy was she wild and the the longest set of horns. Now, some 11 years later she’s pushing up there around 15 years of age and only allows me to touch her. She produced the most striking babies every year until she quit about 2 years ago. So when we decided to get out of goats, I knew I couldn’t sell her. It wasn’t right to use her her whole life, gain all that trust, just to toss her to the next person who would most likely try to breed her and then sell her when she didn’t. So now we have old lady Sioux and we kept the twins that we bottle raised as friends until she passes away.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the growth of the Doomstar herd, purchased from us and kept us updated on our past and present babies. We had 45 adult does and 3 bucks at one given time. Now I have Sioux who is pushing 18 and I have a friend for her until she passes.
Thank you everyone who bought all my adults that I have loved over the years and given them a good home.
This is the end of this chapter. Last night was our last sale after 11 years of doing this.
I will leave this page up in case anyone ever wants to post updates on anything they’ve gotten from me or you guys can go back and check dates/info on your babies.

Pawnee also had kids sometime last night after we went to bed. Both are blue eyed. One has waddles and I honestly can’t remember which one off the top of my head. Pawnee is known for throwing and raising triplets. $400 for this trio. Kids are boy and girl.

Super good momma and her doeling and buckling available to go together. She had triplets but one already sold. Doeling is the black one and I believe she’ll have moonspots. In the sunlight you can see some spots.
They are out of a blue eyed moonspotted buck with wattles.

Chickasha had her babies today. Another set of triplets. This girl has had triplets all 4 years I’ve had her. For whatever reason, two did not survive the birthing process this time (first time this doe has had a problem) however the remaining buckling is thriving and the two are available to go together for $275 or wait until weaning to se parade. I believe baby will have blue eyes but not 100% sure yet.
Also, in the past, this doe has also raised her triplets with no assistance.

Sirius and Bellatrix finally had some sunshine therapy yesterday and lord I love those little baby hops! They were full of energy. Also, they both have the brightest blue eyes and both have moonspots. Bellatrix are harder to see with her black coat, but in the sunlight there’s definitely multiple there that I think will get brighter as she ages. Both are available!

This year is Harry Potter themed names and we had our first five yesterday.
The triplets are 2 girls and a boy. The twins are boys. One girl and the twins are supposed to leave tomorrow for their new homes so we just named the boy/girl pair from the triplets, Sirius and Bellatrix!
Our first sets of kids born within MINUTES of each other and Fly is already showing in the striking black colors, moonspots, blue eyes and wattles on his babies.
It’s a bit cool out so I’ll have to get better pictures when they aren’t under a heat lamp.

Since a bunch of people jumped on the bottle babies, I thought I’d offer these two now. These two are 2 year old twins and were my bottle babies so they are as puppy dog tame as they come. They are on the smaller side so I’m not sure how they’d do in a reproductive home, but they are lovers.
$200 for the pair. Both are does. The brown/white one has blue eyes.

Since everyone loved the bottle babies, I thought I’d put these two out there together. These girls are twin 2 year olds that were my bottle babies so they are puppy dog tame. They are definitely small so I’d be very cautious breeding them, or let them be pets. They have been in birthday parties and goat yoga.

And the white one has brown eyes, I just caught her blinking 😂

Who wants BOTTLE BABIES!
Due to complications/circumstances, these two bucklings born last night are available to go as bottle babies. $50 each. Or $75 if you take both.
The bigger of the two is black with already distinct moonspots.
The little one is a more dark brown tint with white leg and ear markings. Both have had colostrum and are doing great but I do not want bottle kids.

Once babies are born and does are open, prices will vary but here’s a rough estimate:

Fly-moonspotted buck with blue eyes and wattles-$150

Open, proven does are going to average $200

Doelings-$175 average

Bucklings-$50-$100

Side note: if you want to purchase a doe only, you must wait until the kids are weaned before you can take her home. I’m not bottle feeding if I can avoid it.

First sale of the year last night. Stingray went to his new family. Don’t forget, we are selling out. Buy them now while they’re all assumed to be bred (at least half are bagging up), buy them later with kids on their sides, or buy them after weaning. All the kids will be available as well.
The last 10 or so photos are of the 2 year olds and they are last years photos. I will get updated ones as soon as the weather turns semi decent and not super muddy

The two bucks can go now if anyone is interested while I’m really motivated to sell them. Fly (first picture) is black with moonspots, blue eyes and wattles. While he was dang near feral when I bought him, he’ll now eat out of your hand as long as you don’t try to grab him. He’s not psycho but he is still nervous. He’s a proven producer of moonspots at his previous home and we hope to have plenty out of him in a month or two but sadly we’re trying to cut way down and breeding more isn’t cutting down!
Second picture is an old one of Stingray. If you want a small buck who produces small kids, this is your guy. No bigger than he is but he doesn’t have any trouble breeding. He’s just 2 years old and already proven. He is naturally polled with blue eyes and was a bottle baby so he’s tame.

Little bit of sunbathing yesterday. The girls are starting to loosen up a bag, as well as at least 1 of the first time fresheners has a pretty good bag.

Cereal donations are their most favorite! Because of course they are starving!

Stingy was feeling himself and challenging Fly through the fence. These two were so annoyed by one another they couldnt even do their job with the does that were trying to flirt with them 😂

River and Creek a few weeks ago playing in the feed pen. They’re now turned out but I had to capture the zoomies! It’s not often yearlings have these moments like they’re tiny babies again and I love it!

Cereal donations are their favorites!!! After the donkey quiets down listen to their little munchy noises ❤️

Creme is the tiniest of our keeper lot. She’s also the one that dog piles into any food we put out. She can push those bigger babies right out of the way, or, you know, just hide under the food 😂

It’s very hard to get a well mannered goat around feeding time. But we do our best to wait out the ridiculous “I’m starving” excitement until all hooves are on the ground and waiting.

I did say we were waiting until Nov 1st to turn these stinky boys out but close enough! Expecting babies late March through April!

It’s been beautifully quiet these past few weeks on the Doomstar farm. The herd is enjoying the break in the heat, the babies have done some independent exploring, tree climbing and attempted escaping. Sparrow, the newest buck, has restarted his barn climbing adventures and can periodically be seen walking along the roof of a building. However he always comes down for food. 😂

Cookies and Creme knew momma had a snack and they were big cry babies until i let them try it. Creme was all for that caramel apple sucker!

It’s been awhile since we’ve been so busy to have to feed in the dark but the girls were loving the cooler weather. Also! All the bucklings have been sold! Thank you to everyone who shared and spread the word

We just got back from vacation and we were missing our babies. Chubby little bottle babies were making it up the back hill as fast as their legs would take them

Not goats BUT pretty everyone that came to the place to pick up their baby goats this past year has spotted the mini donkeys and shown a lot of interest in purchasing future babies. Just an update that the babies are starting to hit the ground!

Everyone is eating feed! Even the ones that are only halfway to being old enough to wean. They’re all eating it! Which is great, except for double the feed to put out 😂❤️
