It's been a rough weekend here. We had to say goodbye to the bestest, most sweetest boy there ever was today. He would have been 10 next month. I love you so very much, Jaxy! You will forever be loved and missed. My heart is sad, but I'm okay. I love this picture my sister snapped a couple years ago. It shows just how much life he had, once upon a time. Living his best life, doing all the things dogs love to do. With all the cookies, toys, and bug chasing he could have ever wanted. Trips to the lake. Trips to the store. Going to our bed whenever he felt like it. He was so, so loved. Ive owned and loved alot of animals in my lifetime, Jax tops the list, without a doubt. To know Jax, was to love Jax. Everyone that met him, loved him and he loved them back, even more.

The June bearing strawberries are starting up! Honestly, everything I purchased was marked June bearing, but pretty sure I got everbearing.. That's okay though.. Just means more strawberry beds, right?!?

Oh! And no, those semi pink, mostly white ones aren't under ripe. Those are Pineberries!!

Pineberries are a unique, naturally occurring hybrid strawberry variety characterized by its creamy white to pale pink skin and contrasting bright red seeds. Though it looks like an albino strawberry, it delivers a sweet, juicy strawberry flavor mixed with distinct tropical notes of pineapple, pear, and apricot.

We have one small bed of pineberries and we were excited to be able to add them to the homestead. 🥰

You guys have been giving raving reviews on our brand new soaps and we LOVE to hear them! We are releasing two more soaps this week!!

Cherokee Comfort. The warm, soothing scent of sweet honey and oatmeal combined together for one comfy cozy bar of soap! All natural, plant based ingredients. Made with aloe butter, h**p oil, and topped with oatmeal for maximum soothing comfort and deep skin hydration.

Sequoyah’s Cabin. A masculine fragrance designed to capture the calming, grounding essence walking down a wooded trail. Crisp, leafy greens and fresh pine with warm, woody undertones like cedar, amber, and patchouli. Made with tallow and goats milk then topped with dead sea salt for extra exfoliation.
A nod to the great Sequoyah who is held in such high esteem and regard amongst the Cherokee Tribe. People celebrate him as an intellectual giant. His invention of the Cherokee alphabet led to a literacy rate among the Cherokee that soon surpassed that of neighboring white settlers. The Cherokee National Council even awarded him a prestigious medal in 1824.

Somethings just never get old.. Gathering eggs is one of those things. I love it so much! Makes it even better when you get to collect pretty eggs too! They always look like they should be in some sort of country magazine to me. Cant beat farm fresh eggs, from truly free ranged, happy, healthy hens. I have some eggs available if you need some. Chicken eggs $3.50/dz or $7/flat which is 2.5dz. Dozen quail eggs $5. Limited quantities available.
