Curls, eyes, chin dimple. I can’t get over these two!

Next up will be our girl and I’m secretly hoping I’ll get my mini me too. Only 3 months to go and we’ll be a family of 4 🥰. Wish us luck on welcoming little Ayla Rose to the family.

The weathers been so nice that we moved our new 7 Orpington Chicks out to pasture!

No one is allowed to hold the leash except Luca 😂.

It is too funny to see Luca try to steer our 120lb Baloo around on a leash. Baloo ends up dragging Lucas around half the time meaning daddy has to save the day (whether Luca likes it or not).

Baloo didn’t even budge at this argument and just went on sniffing. Proving yet again that livestock dogs can be rock solid 💪.

There is just something about having a German Shepherd as your sons protector.

In public, Lucas is untouchable with Bo’s leash in his hands and in private he has the best friend he could ask for. Everyday you can find Lucas sneaking Bo tidbits, throwing sticks for him and calling his name 24/7.

Went to the pond and a Beaver came right up to us. We have watched them in wonder for the last few years as they have dammed our pond and the stream leading up to the pond. They have created their own little paradise and we couldn’t be happier to have the increased water retention and increased wildlife activity. They truly prove why they are labeled a keystone species.
