December- March 2026 ewe lambs weaned and ready for new pastures. Two Ram lambs available including black and white. Merino, Wensleydale and East Fresian crosses. A few weaned bottle babies, so extra tame and all super friendly. Located near Brightwood Virginia.
We also have a few fleeces from this year’s shearing. Raw, unwashed 7-10 pounds each.

Looking for fiber artists to work with our fleeces for our farm store.

He’s lovable, cute and friendly
And he would make an excellent companion.
He loves me so much that I have to hide from him but it doesn’t matter where I go he finds me.
Upstairs…. A half mile down a trail… in the apartment mudroom. In my car. He’s everywhere.

Due to the expected weather forecast for this weekend, the farm open house, farm tour and yoga are rescheduled for June 6. As usual the farm store will still be open this weekend by appointment. Butterflies, Mountain Laurel, fern lined trails, alpacas, stocked trout streams and a farm store packed with our eggs, meat, veggies and lots of goodies. Sounds like a perfect 💕🏕️
We received a cancellation for this weekend! Butterfly Camp is available this Friday, May 22 - Monday, May 26. This campsite is suitable for four guest. Has a firepit with cooking grate, table with chairs, a hand washing/food prep area, solar shower an outdoor covered changing area and a large level tent pad.

Reunited! This little birdie was hanging out in the greenhouse. The door was wide open but thanks to Melody and her excellent window cleaning skills, he couldn’t pass through the invisible shield. 😂🪶 I love that his friend was patiently waiting for his release 💕

I love creating new spaces!
River Birch Meadows has been on the trail sign for years but it never existed until yesterday.
Originally I wanted to create a small wildflower meadow tucked into the forest. A picnic space, “Take your alpacas for a picnic”, but that requires cooperation by Diamond and Luna 🦙🦙 and a cafe that just seems too much at this time.
Instead a trail was created that follows the creek, to a small opening in the woods. Just enough light to add some flowers, a hammock has a future here. Along the new path will be unique sitting areas, resting spots and quiet places for contemplation and meditation.
The sound of the creek and birdsong is amazing. I promise to post video later.
The short loop adds two tenths of a mile to our trail system, crossing the stream twice, winding around clumps of moss and tall ferns. 🌳💕
