After 10 wonderful years, the time has come to officially close the chapter on Thornton River Orchard & Market LLC.
To every customer, friend, neighbor, and family member who has supported us over the years—thank you. Your loyalty, kindness, and encouragement have meant more to us than words can express. It has truly been an honor to serve this community.
We are happy to share that the orchard and market are now under new ownership. We wish the new owner every success and sincerely hope you'll continue to support him as he begins this new journey. Small businesses thrive because of communities like ours, and we know you'll give him the same warmth and encouragement you've shown us.
Many have asked why we made this decision. As it turns out, God's timing is everything. On April 7, 2026, Allan was diagnosed with brain cancer. Since then, he has been undergoing treatment and is now preparing for a stem cell transplant in the near future. While this has been an unexpected and challenging season for our family, we are trusting in God's plan and taking things one day at a time.
We would greatly appreciate your prayers for Allan's healing, strength, and a successful transplant, as well as for our family as we walk this journey together.
Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of your lives over the past decade. The memories we've made, the friendships we've built, and the support you've shown us will always hold a special place in our hearts.
