This season’s honey is in! Pictured left, you can see it’s slightly darker than last year’s (on the right). Each harvest has its own flavor profile, due to which flowers the bees decide to frequent. We will have the new honey available on the farm this Sunday for Farm Tour, so come on out for a side by side taste test! Nik and Jenn will be hosting tours at 11:30am or 2:30pm if you’d like to see where our bees reside. 🐝🍯

What else to do when you’re overrun with tomatoes but make salsa! 🍅💃 Big thanks to Chef Kendra Fork and Ember for whipping this up for us - a traditional salsa with a touch of unique Sunnyside flavors. Come on down to the Rappahannock County Farmers' Market and grab a jar!

If you haven't tried George Washington's favorite fruit, now's your chance! It's a short but sweet season this year for our pawpaws. This will likely be the LAST week to get pawpaws from us at the Rappahannock County Farmers' Market, so stock up now and freeze it for later. Olivia Jean promises you won't regret it 😉

The Rappahannock County Farm Tour is a free, two-day, self-guided tour. This year we have 12 venues on the tour, with a wide range of farms and experiences.

Apples and pears aren’t the only orchard products we’ll have at market this weekend…the first pawpaws are in and ready for eating!

Niebuhr Animal Services is so great to work with! They helped us out a ton with our goats this week and did an amazing job. If anyone is looking for animal services we highly recommend them.

Liberty apples are here! 🍎 This variety has a wonderful balance of crispness and juiciness. Not as sweet as a Fuji, but not as tart as a Granny Smith, Liberty apples are great for both snacking and cooking. We’ll have samples out tomorrow at the Rappahannock County Farmers' Market, so come give it a try!
