Slowly but surely… the produce is escaping! 🌽🥒🎃
Slowly but surely, I’m getting more produce out of the garden and into the farm stand! 😂
Today I harvested Delicata & Mashed Potato squash — and these things are HUGE. They’re a customer favorite! I’ve put them in the farm stand for now since we’re expecting some storms. They need to cure, so if you grab one, give it a little time to finish doing its thing before you store* it. 😉

I’ll be working on getting a proper pumpkin/squash structure built down there because apparently I’ve decided I need another farm construction project. 🤦♀️😂

🟣 Beets — $2/bundle
(About 1.8 lbs per bag!)
🥒 Zucchini & Summer Squash — $1/each
🌽 Sweet Corn — $6/dozen

🥒 Pickling Cucumbers — $3/carton
I’ll also be adding dill & green beans, but those will probably make their grand entrance tomorrow afternoon.
The stand will slowly evolve as I get things organized — coolers, buckets, and whatever other creative contraptions are required to keep the unwanted farm residents from helping themselves. 🐛🪲😂
And YES… I know you all would love to come visit with me when I have the store open. ❤️ But we’ve got A LOT going on right now and will reconvene our regular hours in the fall for pumpkin, gourd, squash season! All are bakers + the best funky pumpkin selection one could dream of.
So for now, this is the solution: the farm stand is open for business without requiring me to stand there and supervise everyone’s vegetable shopping. 😂
