Crazy cold morning after our winter storm. Animals all accounted for and doing fine. Alpacas in their element nice and warm with their fleece coats while tortoises get to be inside roaming a warm house. Beautiful white yet very slippery outside. Hoping the gardens survive.

VOLUNTEER HOURS (501c3 non-profit)

Did you know we also have a non-profit 501c3 called “CREEKROW FRIENDS” where the focus is working with special needs…providing a fun, social, and educational farm environment for them to come and learn valuable vocational skills working with the daily maintenance of our animals and also planting and maintaining our many vegetable gardens. (I’ve been hosting these activities for LTHS 18+ students for the past few years and currently have them here twice a week during the school year for vocational job training)
If you have a teen student looking for a place to volunteer for required service hours over the summer and even during the school year I would love to offer Creekrow Farm as an option. Tasks would be helping with various farm and garden maintenance/projects, daily feeding chores, and of course interaction with the animals. (See link to my farm page below)

Creekrow Farm/Petting Zoo and farm visit info.

Creekrow Farm offers both ON-SITE parties here at the farm or MOBILE petting zoos to you. Private farm tours also available BY APPOINTMENT.

Mobile zoos include baby goats, bunnies, fancy chickens, ducks, a guinea pig, hedgehog, bearded dragon, tortoise, and chicks if I have any available. I bring as many animals as I can comfortably fit in carriers (varies seasonally depending on their age and size at the time)
A basic 1 hr set up is $275……additional hours are $150 per hr
For mobile petting zoos I would arrive about 30 minutes early to set up my fencing and unload animals. I will usually have an assistant with me to help and we set up a few little stools for kids to sit on to hold the smaller animals.
If you haven't seen my Creekrow Farm page, there are photos of many of the animals there and some of the mobile set up.

Parties here are $295 for 2 hours to allow time for cake and presents and are in a large yard I have on the property where animals are in separate pens within the yard for kids to enter and socialize and also include a miniature horse and alpacas. There are also 6 picnic tables and a couple patio tables with extra chairs for plenty of guest seating.

Private farm visits are by appointment only and are a minimum $50 donation for up to 5 people and $10 per additional person. all donations help support our animals and our 501c3 “Creekrow Friends”…our non-profit working with special needs providing fun, social, and educational vocational training throughout the week here at the farm.

Beautiful weather to sit in the barnyard with my alpaca girls where selfies prove to be a challenge. Lol.
