Meet Huitzilopochtli 🌞🐦‍🔥

Huitzilopochtli is the Nahua (Aztec) deity of the sun, war, and the southern sky. He represents strength, perseverance, and the daily triumph of light over darkness. According to Nahua tradition, he guided the Mexica people on their journey to establish Tenochtitlan and was the force that kept the sun moving across the sky each day. 🌤️

It is also believed that fallen warriors were reborn as hummingbirds, returning to accompany the sun on its journey. The hummingbird in our logo honors this symbolism and the enduring connection between past and present.

Our spirits are inspired by our Nahua heritage and shaped by the land we call home in Central Texas. Each bottle is crafted to honor our ancestors, reconnect with our roots, and celebrate the traditions that continue to inspire us today. Bella Loma is more than a distillery—it’s a place where culture, craftsmanship, and community come together. 🥃🇲🇽👋
