Today was a garden day. Dug the potatoes and a few of the carrots (they need more time), picked a bunch of green beans and strawberries and tomatoes. This will keep me busy this week preserving them all for winter while I wait for Ruby's puppies to be born.

Our Jenny Turkey had been sitting on her egg for weeks but nothing hatched.. then we were gifted some unwanted baby chicks and put them in the coop and she thought they were hers! She's been protecting them, keeping them warm and teaching them the ropes ever since.
