We had some extra big chuck steaks so our 13 year old son (a young Gordon Ramsey minus the attitude 😉) cut them up into smaller steaks, made homemade marinade and soaked them overnight. A perfect medium rare on the grill! DELICIOUS 😋

As the weather changes, the pasture pets are spending more time out eating grass to put on some extra weight for winter. I notice a wave of calm and focus with them lately. We have many that will lamb come January/February, probably in the middle of a blizzard if they do what they've always done!
Fall reminds us it's about time to rest and wait things out till spring. 🍁

Goooooood morning from the chicken coop where these ladies and gents are getting some leftovers from the garden squash. Unfortunately our 2026 garden is done, it froze both nights over the weekend. Always makes me sad every year. 😢
