Twenty five years ago we made a bet on Washington wine. On the soil. On the climate. On what this state could do when someone took it seriously.
Turns out the judges agreed.
Washington Winery of the Year. San Francisco International Wine Competition Winery of the Year, the only Washington winery in history to win it. Dan Berger’s International Wine Competition Winery of the Year. Winemaker of the Year, three times. Most Valuable Producer. Five thousand awards and counting, more than any other Washington winery ever.
None of it happened by accident. All of it happened because of this place, these vines, and the people who believed in Washington wine before it was obvious.
Twenty five years in. Nowhere near finished.
