The perfect date night, hiding in plain sight 🍷🍝

There wasn’t a single thing on the table I didn’t enjoy. The Bavetta had one of the best smoky chars I’ve had in a long time, and both the Carbonara and Gnocchi are dishes I’d happily order again.

My only wish is that there was at least one dedicated vegetarian entrée on the menu. The appetizers and salad offer some options, but I’d love to see a vegetarian main course added in the future.

The Pig & Fig pizza was a last-minute add-on, and somehow it ended up being my favorite thing we ordered. 🍕

What we ordered:

🍕 Pig & Fig Pizza
🐟 Halibut
🥗 Gem Spring Salad
🍝 Bucatini & Meatballs
🍹 Lanai

Honestly, the Gem Spring Salad and halibut were so good I could have come just for those. Then the Pig & Fig arrived and completely stole the show. Figs, bacon, gorgonzola, honey, and arugula sounded like a strange combination, but wow... it worked.

The Lanai was refreshing, the staff was incredibly friendly, and we’ll definitely be back.

A little skin refresh at Rejuvenate Rx ✨

I stopped in for a DiamondGlow facial, and my skin was definitely ready for it. Between the exfoliation, extraction, and serum infusion, my face felt incredibly clean, hydrated, and smooth afterward.

Formerly known as Table 13, Lilac & Pine is the newly rebranded restaurant inside the Davenport Grand.

The Pine & Ember S’mores Duo was definitely the most eye-catching dish of the night, and the space features cozy green booths, warm lighting, and an upscale downtown atmosphere.

I came for the Crab Toast Benedict. I left thinking about the potatoes.

A Honey Nut Cheerios-infused cocktail, olive oil cake French toast, and a crab Benedict? Obviously I had questions.

What we ordered:

🦀 Crab Toast Benedict
🥑 Vegetable Scramble
🫐 Olive Oil Cake French Toast
🥂 Chéri O’s
🍹 Moms Love Me
🍊 Fresh Orange Juice

The Crab Toast Benedict was exactly why I wanted to visit, but those truffle rosemary home fries almost stole the show.

The Olive Oil Cake French Toast ended up being one of the biggest surprises of the meal, and yes... I absolutely ordered the Honey Nut Cheerios-infused cocktail because how could I not? 😂

Reservations are highly recommended. This place was packed.

I’m always posting hidden gems for food in Spokane… but this hidden gem is for ELECTRIC 😭⚡️

Not my usual food post, but technically he saved the FOOD lol.

Our freezer breaker completely failed and after panicking about losing everything, we found Moises with GH Electric and honestly, one of the best experiences we’ve had with a home service company.

✔️ Fair pricing
✔️ Actually cared about fixing the issue

You can tell when someone is building a business through honest work and good character and that matters.

If you need an electrician in Spokane, especially for an emergency, definitely keep GH Electric saved in your phone
