When devastation touched our community, Spokane answered with compassion. ❤️
People came carrying bags of clothes, shoes, household items, food, and supplies. Others quietly gave donations and asked for no recognition at all. Volunteers gave hours of their time sorting, organizing, lifting, cleaning, preparing food, and helping families who had suddenly lost so much.
To Fil-Am Tri-Cities WA and the Carmelite Sisters from Seattle , thank you for standing with Spokane and for your generous financial support.
To every donor who wished to remain anonymous, please know that your kindness was deeply felt. You may never meet the families you helped, but you became part of their recovery.
To every volunteer who helped build and organize our Donation Hub — you turned a room full of donations into hope, dignity, and help for neighbors in need.
In the aftermath of devastation, we saw something beautiful:
People taking care of people.
No one organization did this alone. No one person could have done it alone.
It was the hands that donated.
The hands that cooked.
The hands that sorted.
The hands that carried boxes.
The hands that served meals.
The hands that gave.
And the hands that reached out to say, “How can I help?”

As our families continue to rebuild and recover, may we always remember what happened when our community came together:
