Pie can be sweet or savory, fancy or rustic, hot from the oven or straight from the icebox. Whichever way you bake it, pie is love—and the best pies are made at home by hand. In Kate Lebo’s Pie School, you’ll learn everything you need know to make pie as easy as it should be. Using recipes from her classic cookbook Pie School: Lessons in Fruit, Flour, and Butter, you’ll make flaky pie dough by hand, create flavorful fruit fillings, put a double-crust pie together, and bake it to perfection. Kate will also give handy tips for how to work pie-making into busy days and use your new skills to bake savory pies for dinner.
