🌺 🌼 One of the greatest things about having a small business is getting to personally meet the people who walk through the door. So imagine my delight when I met this beautiful woman who I get to share not only the same first name with BUT the same middle name - spelled exactly the same. Here we are - the Kimberly Rae’s! When things like this happen, the world is not so large. We are - in some way or another connected to all that surrounds us - and Craig and I are so thankful for these opportunities to meet people. ❤️
We are open Memorial weekend: Fri-Sun 9-4; Mon 9-1.

Game Day! Rainy days suck, but games can turn that frown upside down. Chillin' on the porch or snoozing on a pontoon boat - all are perfect excuses for some serious fun. 'Penny Drop' is like math homework, but way more exciting. Want to kick it up a notch? Ditch the coins and stuff the inside with some cash 😉 …

Looking for something to do this Saturday in the McKenzie Lakes or Scott Township area? There are two great opportunities to get involved and enjoy the day.

Start your morning by joining the annual McKenzie Lakes Association roadside clean-up, held in partnership with the Rooney and Lipsie Lakes Associations. Simply pick a local road, collect roadside trash, and bring it to McKenzie Landing between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m., where it will be disposed of free of charge (courtesy of the Town of Scott). Afterward, stick around for a casual gathering hosted by the McKenzie Lakes Association with light food and appetizers.

Then in the afternoon, head over to Voyager Village for the Town of Scott Fire Department’s final meat raffle of the season. The event runs from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and is always a fun way to support your local fire department. With this being the last meat raffle of the season, we are adding more meat offerings and bacon to each round!

I’ll be helping collect roadside trash at McKenzie Landing in the morning and will also be emceeing the meat raffle in the afternoon. If you’re able, come out for one or both events—it’s a great way to support the community and spend the day with neighbors.

For those of you who are Polk Burnett customers, they are having a free (yes free) e-cycling event next Friday at their office in Centuria (just south of Luck). It’s a great opportunity to dispose of your unwanted electrics and keep them out of landfills. More information is available in the attached flyer.
