A family tradition that became an Economart favorite.

Our famous ground beef has deep roots at Schmitz’s Economart. Ted’s grandpa, Jim Schmitz, was a meat guy from the very beginning, and that commitment to quality has carried on for generations.

Since the 1980s, Larry and the crew have helped keep those long-standing standards high. Our ground beef is made from fresh, whole-muscle beef and ground several times throughout the day for the freshness and quality our customers have come to expect.

Excellent quality. Excellent care. And a whole lot of tradition in every pound. ❤️

If you’ve ever stopped by the courtesy counter at Economart, chances are you’ve seen Davina and Billy Jo right in the middle of the action... and we mean ALL the action. 💪

Customer questions, checkout coordination, returns, UPS packages, fishing licenses, minnow scooping, sporting goods, faxes, photocopies, photo kiosk help, online grocery orders... the list goes on and on.

These two somehow manage to handle a gazillion things at once while still making sure our customers are taken care of with a smile. And if they don’t know the answer to your question, you can sure bet they’ll find someone who does!

Davina and Billy Jo have both been part of the Economart team for many years, and we’re incredibly thankful for the kindness, patience, and exceptional customer service they bring to the store every day. ❤️
