Megan was seriously injured while horseback riding in South Africa, and her medical costs are already reaching $40,000. She’s in ICU with a traumatic brain injury and needs extended care and support while she recovers abroad.

We have received a lot of inquiries recently regarding our fast track labs. We still hold large animal and avian fast track labs for Penn Foster, Purdue and Appalachian State students regularly throughout the year. BUT for Penn Foster students, we are booked for the remainder of 2026. We cannot schedule 2027 labs for Penn Foster students yet, as the school has requested students be scheduled no more than 6 months in advance. If a Penn Foster student needs only the ruminant and/or avian portion of their skills, please contact us as we may be able to accommodate in 2026, but this is only for ruminant and avian skills.

Today is Rocket's due date, but she graced us with a bull calf on Wednesday afternoon. He is out of the same bull we used last year and looks like a twin to that calf with his unique smoky coloring. Still working on a name, but it will start with R.

Rowdy left today for his new home at South Anna Farm. We are glad he will be close by and growing their herd.
