Flowers, oh these beautiful blooms..

Organically grown (non-certified) and a huge contribution to our neighborhood bees: dahlias, lisianthus, salvia, butterfly bush, amaranth, zinnias, etc., etc. We take great pride in our stems and want to share them with you!!

These are ready for purchase and can be delivered in the Waynesboro, Staunton, Stuart’s Draft, Riverheads area for an additional fee. Otherwise, they can be picked up at the Flower Barn right outside Greenville or meet at a central location. Free delivery to area businesses within reason. We’re in the beginning stages of getting this off the ground and don’t have a lot of resources, please be mindful (gas is expensive).

The goal is to be able to grow incrementally more each year, so please help us on our journey! We’re on a 5 year plan towards pick-your-own and we want to see you then!

We recycle glass for most of our bouquets and are proud to reduce/reuse.

2. Mini Desk Concert: two HUGE and one medium sized dahlia with some sprigs of Thai basil. Perfect for a desk or limited space. $18

4. Joyful Varietal: splendid mix of colors. Sure to brighten anyone’s day. Mix of dahlias, zinnia, poke berry, bitterly bush, snapdragon and grasses. $30

5. Autumn Fever Dream: ready with fall spirit, this is sure to put you in a pumpkin patch mood. Dahlias with amaranth and Scabiosa. $35

6. Sprig & Stem: Single huge dinnerplate with an herb sprig. $12

Dahlias???? Where are you???? Almost there, the white ones are coming on strong. Most other colors are straggling… dragging behind. We lost so many this season, the situation baffling, but nothing has been quite “normal” this year.

Amaranth came up swinging, as it does and we’ll have plumage before most dahlias.

Lisianthus continue to be an hourly frustration. Seeing some blooms, but are very slow to open. I planted these in April. Some are tall and blooming, some are the same size as when I planted them. This will be two plants next to each other, so no rhyme or reason.

Zinnias are coming in strong, as most of the other free sowing flowers. Cannot wait!

The veggie garden has been my saving grace. Tomatoes started in March and transplanted in May are huge, lush and glorious! Huge fruit just waiting to ripen. We’ve been living on things from the garden for some time. I love having a “grocery” in the yard and dinner side dishes are heavy with produce from the garden. Beets, radishes, kale, spinach, lettuce, potatoes, squashes and so many herbs.
