We had a great time last night at the library’s Trivia Night fundraiser hosted by our friends at The Gem - Spring City Speakeasy 🤗

I was not able to contribute too many answers to our team, but we did bring some SWEET Spring City items to be included in the raffle. We hope the person in the balcony who won our local package enjoys them all (and if you need a different size shirt let me know) 😎

And a SPECIAL thank you to everyone who stopped by the shop last night. It was our first Shop and Support and y’all knocked it out of the park! We are so happy to be able to support our local library 🤓

Stay tuned for another Shop and Support in the coming months! We are working on some fun things and are excited to see them come together. Invest in LOCAL 😇

Everything is better when we help each other out! 🙂

Come by the store tonight from 6-8pm for our first Shop and Support night. We are donating 20% of every purchase to the Spring City Public Library. It is the perfect time to stock up on some of your favorites!

And remember to signup for Trivia Night at The Gem - Spring City Speakeasy with your best teammates! Ticket sales and raffle items will help support the Library. Doors open at 6pm with the fun and games starting at 7pm.

Please welcome our new team member, Craig!

Craig has proudly served as a bench for nearly two decades. He comes to us after spending many glorious years on a residential porch outside of Pottstown.

His main duties will include providing the public with a spot to take a rest - catch up with a friend - sip a cold brew - watch the madness at the intersection - construct an absurd post.

Craig’s presence has already served as a good reminder to slow down - take a deep breath - enjoy the small moments - be silly - appreciate the little things (like a sturdy bench in the shade of a tree).

If you pass Craig on the sidewalk, please say HI HI HIYA! And make sure to check in on your local shopkeepers - the end of summer is when they really start acting a bit funny.

Supporting local should not feel like a strain or a sacrifice. We are proud to offer locally made items at price points that anyone can feel good about purchasing. Yes, our prices may be higher than other larger stores (or e-commerce sites), but everything in the shop is carefully crafted by a real-life human who lives where we live.

Our promise to you is that every item in here is priced with both you and the artisan in mind. No one is price gauging or looking to take advantage of anyone (well, unless you are from Jersey 😏). Supporting local - much like building a community - can only work if everyone has the ability to participate.

And for a little extra incentive for this Thursday (tomorrow!): all non-food items under $30 are BOGO50. Let’s celebrate our half year in business with some old-fashioned buy one get one half off sales 🎉

YOOOOO we have some sick mishing and mashing at the shop for you! 🌪️

Des from Search and Destroy Fashion took a couple of the designs that we printed at LWPrints and created ONE-OF-A-KIND masterpieces that are now available in the shop. Come check them out this week because if no one claims the flannel soon, it WILL be coming home with me.

We will continue to print some wacky designs to give to Des to upcycle and make beautiful. If you have a specific piece of clothing that you would like decked out with some Spring City pride, please let us know. We can always help facilitate in making your vision become reality!
