This little beauty joined the flock yesterday 🥰 Say ‘Hello’ to Luthien! A beautiful, healthy and energetic little ewe lamb, she’s already running around on pasture with everyone else and eating voraciously.

This fall batch of babies is taking their time to arrive, here’s to hoping they all give birth before the temps plunge too far. We’ve got about 3-4 more mamas left to go.

1 day of refrigerator thawing time is required for every 4 pounds of turkey.

Meet Carrie and Rudy from Bluff Farm

Our friends Carrie, Charles, Kathy and Rudy run Owl Bluff Farm, a certified organic vegetable farm situated near Houston, MN and just 2.5 miles down the road from us!

Using organic production, Carrie and Charles raise a wide variety of delectable vegetables while improving the health of their 20 acre farmstead, feeding pollinators and providing habitat for beneficial predators (owls, for example).
