The beef cattle were out of hay & grain this morning, so they were happy to see Dennis rolling in with this round bale! 🐮🧑‍🌾🌾

When I called Dennis to tell him the news on 9.11, he was running a 4 row JD 5460 chopper in a corn field filling silos for a neighboring dairy farmer. He had not heard the news.

I was working in the microbiology lab at the time, frantically trying to get a positive blood culture report of E.coli to the ordering physician & the hospital floor amidst the chaos that was making its way even into our lab.

We will never forget where we were & we often tell our kids about it.

At Ag Progress Days the boys climbed into so many pieces of equipment! Had to take a picture of Liam in the "Wacker Neuson" skid steer! I would imagine that is 2 last names, but it always makes me laugh!

Anybody own a Wacker Neuson anything?!

Good morning! ☕☀️🐓

In this photo Dennis just emptied 2 tons of chicken feed into my barrels at each pen! Today we are going to make a rooster run and sell a bunch of them. Then this feed will last a little longer without all of those loud mouths to feed!

After a while it just gets too chaotic with them chasing all of the hens, and then I know it's time to sell a bunch!

Hope you can successfully off-load all of your chaos today! 😅🐓👍
