The combine is repaired & we're enjoying our 1st day of barley harvest! Our repair guy, Josh Martin, put the new part on & his very patient, young son got to go along for a ride! 👍💪👨‍🌾

Good morning! 🌞☕💪

This morning the parts will be in for the combine! We hope to fix the combine this morning and get into barley harvest this afternoon! Then the combine will be repaired, the barley will be dry after yesterday's rain, & if the heifers & their bull decide to stay home in their barnyard today, we should be good to go, Lord willing! 😅👍

Got our runaway cattle into a neighbor's pasture this morning & then we hauled them home a few at a time! Thanks to our neighbors for all of your help! 👍💪🐮

The guys barely started with barley harvest yesterday when the combine broke down. Fortunately, Josh Martin was able to come right over (along with his young son, seen on the step, who patiently waited for HOURS!) & he & Dennis were eventually able to figure out what the problem was. So today Dennis has to track down parts & then hopefully they can get this beast going today. The barley is ready & waiting. Hopefully this is a short-lived setback! 💪🤞
