Good morning, Friends of Once Upon a Vine,
As most of you know, my husband and business partner, Pat Bassett , passed away 3 1/2 years ago. He and I had created Once Upon a Vine. When he passed, I realized I needed to wait to make the decision to sell the business or keep it going. For 3 1/2 years, I have kept it going with the help of Dianne Greer and my wonderful volunteers.
This year, I "hit" a milestone birthday and realized that there are so many things I want to do in the final chapter of my life. I want to travel more and see the world. I want to spend more time with my special man. I also don't want my customers to be neglected.
So, I have made the decision to sell Once Upon a Vine. It's the only business in over 100 miles where you can make wine, beer, and cider. It has so much potential but I don't have the time to allow it to see it's potential and that's a bit sad.

Good morning, Friends of Once Upon a Vine! We would like to wish you all a blessed Thanksgiving, a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
We are in our final stages of our customers bottling wine for the holidays. We are closed the week of Thanksgiving and will be closed from December 7th-January 5th, reopening in 2026.
If you didn't get a chance to make your wine for the holidays, we have quite a few bottles of wine, some great "wine themed" gifts, and gift cards for your holiday gifting. We are a "one stop shop" for all of your wine-o friends and relatives! If you are interested, please email me at [email protected] and I will let you know which days we will be in the store. Please do NOT call us as we are only in the store by appointment only!

Good morning, Friends of Once Upon a Vine! Each month, I send out an email, letting you all know when the next wine tasting will be held. I also send out information about pre-orders of wine kits and other news. Unfortunately, I use Microsoft Outlook and almost all of the emails are "bounced back" and you probably don't see them. I don't know what to do about this. The messages say that it's in the "settings" for the recipients' email? Maybe if you "allow" my emails to come through, this will change and you will receive them? Unfortunately, I can't call you all individually. Here is what Microsoft sends me. Please help with this if you want to continue to received notification emails from Once Upon a Vine. Thanks!:

Your message couldn't be delivered. Despite repeated attempts to contact the recipient's email system it didn't respond.
Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin that it appears that their email system isn't accepting connection requests from your email system. Give them the error details shown below. It's likely that the recipient's email admin is the only one who can fix this problem.

Greetings, Friends of Once Upon a Vine! Our next Second Saturday Sipping Social at the Vine will be held from 4-6PM on Saturday September 13th! This will be the last wine tasting of 2025 so make sure to RSVP for this event! This is the perfect time to purchase any last minute kits to make for your Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays! Seating is limited and seats will fill up quickly, especially since this is the last wine tasting of the year!
