We are excited to officially announce the youth workshops that will be part of our Homestead Living Community Event! ☀️

One of our biggest goals for this event was to create opportunities for older youth to teach and encourage younger youth. We believe there is tremendous value in young people learning from one another. Not only does it inspire confidence and connection, but it also helps develop leadership, responsibility, and a heart for serving others.

We have an incredible lineup of workshops planned, with topics designed to inspire, educate, and equip youth. We can’t wait to see these young leaders share their knowledge and experiences.

🐓 Raising Pastured Chickens - In this workshop, you will learn the basics of how to raise your own homegrown chicken from baby chick all the way through full grown.
You will learn information about shelter, feed, health, and how to care for them through each stage.

🪣 Boots, Buckets & Bedtime
In this workshop, we’ll share practical ways to teach work ethic, responsibility, teamwork, and life skills through the everyday rhythms of homestead living.

We are excited to introduce our Summer Farm Club 🌿🐓

This special club will meet once a month, June through August, and offers something a little different than our regular day camps.

Summer Farm Club is designed for children who want deeper, hands-on agricultural and animal experiences. Throughout the summer, participants will learn homesteading and gardening skills, assist with real daily farm chores, and truly become part of life on the farm.

Each child will even have the opportunity to “adopt” their favorite animal on the homestead — working with and caring for that animal during each of their monthly visits. 🐐🐓🐴

Because we want to provide meaningful one-on-one guidance and experience, spots are very limited.
