The first Wednesdays on Broadway Spring Valley, MN of the year is WEDNESDAY already! I can’t wait to see all of you for my third year as a vendor there! I’m planning lots of new flavors for the summer that will change each month, so grab them while you can. Come early because they go fast!

I have high hopes to get everything on this list made, but it all depends on my health. Keep an eye on our page over the next couple days to see what gets done!

As always, everything is dairy and peanut free! (And dye free minus the Cookie Monster sourdough)

We’ll be there with all sorts of baked goods! Gluten free and regular sourdough options, options with no allergens, dried starter, hand sewn goods, and lots of yummy baked goods! 🍞🩵

She is so sweet! We bottle raised her so she is in your pocket tame, but very respectful. We love her, but she just won’t get bred for us. She had 2 single bucklings in a row so her udder is permanently lopsided. She was Reserve Champion Junior Doe at 2019 Olmsted County Fair and 3rd place Junior Doe at the 2019 MN State Fair (her littermate sister getting reserve ahead of her). She produces large kids and has had 2 single bucklings and a set of triplets. She fed triplets while also being milked to feed a bottle baby!

A quick walk in the woods for the goats in between dark skies and showers.

Joker is fitting in great with our herd! It’s taking him a bit to adjust, but mom works with him every day and he’s definitely warming up. We all are so in love with our flashy guy!

A trip up to Duluth for our cousin/nephew’s grad party was the perfect time to pick up a new goat! 😜
We brought HGL Viper up to Duluth with us to meet his new family, then made a little detour on the way home over to Udder Shenanigans Dairy Goats for our new junior herdsire, Udder Shenanigans Joker! 🃏
We have admired this herd for a long time, and finally in the beginning of April this guy was born and we just couldn’t say no! I think it was meant to be because his dam’s name happens to be Harley Quinn, my favorite DC comics character! (I even have a little keychain of her hooked on my purse 😆)
Udder Shenanigans raises their goats just like us, and it was so fun to see all of HGL Nashville Sound’s (who they had for a while) progeny and hear how much they enjoyed him and the improvements he made for them. They have absolutely beautiful, old style, dual purpose Nubians! I’m excited to get some of that size in our herd (and maybe even see some spots! 🙈)! Joker has already stolen my heart and I’m already planning breeding for next year. Don’t worry, Kuhtz Dream Tuck Everlasting isn’t going anywhere, he just needed a friend 😉
I’m so excited to watch Joker grow and to see his kids next year. I think he will do great things in our herd! Thank you Nicole for everything! We are already in love with our little Puddin’ (IYKYK) 🩷

Our new addition comes home Sunday, and I am SO excited to finally meet him!! I can’t wait to introduce him to you all and finally share pictures. Look at those ears!! 😍

The king of the homestead and a new peach tree!

Our orchard has slowly been growing since we moved here in August 2020. Last year was the first year we were able to get much off the apple trees. Looking like it’s going to be another good year! This peach tree even has little peaches growing on it!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported the Olmsted County 4-H Poultry Cloverbuds (ages Kindergarten through 2nd grade) by purchasing items from our list! I am so, so grateful for our amazing family, friends, and followers we’ve never even met 🩷 If you’d still like to support the Cloverbuds showing poultry, I’ve updated our most wanted items. Bubbles, jump ropes, coloring books, and crayons will help complete their prize buckets! The theme this year is “summer fun” 😎☀️ I am so excited to surprise the kids with their buckets in just a couple months! 🍀
