Y’all, with so much negativity in the world today, I wanted to share something positive.

While I was out knocking doors for roofing, I noticed two young boys washing a trash can in their driveway. A few minutes later, I watched them roll it across the street and return it to their neighbor’s house. I immediately thought, “These kids must have their own trash can cleaning business.”

Sure enough, I was right.

Their little sister came up and asked if I wanted a flyer, and of course I said yes. She proudly handed me this. 🥹

Meet Kai and Jace. These young entrepreneurs are out there working, earning, and building something of their own instead of sitting around waiting for opportunities to come to them.

I have so much respect for that kind of hustle. I sent them a little money through Zelle because I believe hard work should be encouraged and celebrated.

Kai and Jace, keep doing what you’re doing. If you continue with this work ethic, you’re going to go far in life.

I don’t have the biggest platform, but I told them I’d do my best to help spread the word. If anyone would like to support these young men and help them grow their business, I know it would absolutely make their day.

Today I had a roof repair in the area, and while grabbing lunch, I finally decided to try Tastee Buddies

located 11300 Bissonnet St
Houston, TX 77099
United States.

I’ve been wanting to check them out for a while, so I was pretty excited and they did NOT disappoint!

Now, I’ve never been to Philly, but I can honestly say this is the best cheesesteak I’ve had in Texas. The bread had the perfect texture, the sandwich wasn’t soggy at all, the flavors were on point, the cheese was melted to perfection, and the fries were absolutely amazing.

Today they had buy 2 get 1 free 😀

I’d gladly make the drive from Spring just to have this sandwich again.

Chef JL was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He was even giving away free deep-fried Oreos! Unfortunately, I had to pass because I can’t eat chocolate, but it was a great gesture. After talking with him for a bit, I can tell he’s a genuinely good person, and I wish him nothing but success.

If you’re in the area, go give them a try—you will not be disappointed!

We had lunch at Super Yummy Mongolian Grill in Tomball, and it was a great experience!

The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly. One thing that really stood out was the freshness of the ingredients and the huge variety of options available. Whether you’re a meat lover, veggie lover, or somewhere in between, there’s something for everyone.

I love being able to build my own bowl exactly how I want it, and everything was cooked perfectly. The quality, flavor, and overall experience definitely exceeded my expectations.

Another thing I really enjoyed was their sushi selection. It’s nice having fresh sushi options available in addition to the Mongolian grill, giving you even more choices to enjoy during your visit.

If you’re looking for a delicious meal with fresh ingredients, sushi, and plenty of options, I highly recommend giving Super Yummy a try. Great food, good vibes, and excellent service all around.

Can’t wait to go back!

As I’ve mentioned about me moving from the food truck to now doing food reviews . I also said I would post uplifting words, motivational testimonies , recipes, cooking etc to my page as well. I been hesitant on doing so as I didn’t want people to unfollow me for not sticking to just food reviews .

But it’s messages like this one that tells me who cares if I lose followers? Who cares if people get bothered what I post ? I will not please everyone. But if I can uplift someone , I am blessed

I met this person Friday to give her a quote on a new roof. She believed in me and handed me over a check then and there . Today I was so excited and grateful to put a new roof on her beautiful home ! I did not only gain a client , I gained a friend!

DATE NIGHT DONE RIGHT 😮‍🔥🍽️

We pulled up to Punta Cana Caribbean Restaurant and WOW… this one hit different 💛

I grew up around Puerto Rican food — the kind that brings family together — This place is Dominican however the food is similar. so anytime I eat dishes like this, it’s more than just food… it’s nostalgia ❤️

Let me tell y’all what we had 👇

🔥 Pernil (roasted pork) — fall-apart tender, juicy, and seasoned PERFECTLY. Not dry at all… you can tell this was cooked low & slow for hours.

🔥 Ropa vieja — crazy flavor! Slightly sweet, super savory, and everything blended together just right. One of those plates you don’t want to share 😅

🔥 Arroz con gandules — fluffy, flavorful, and cooked exactly how it should be. No shortcuts here.

🔥 Beef empanada — crispy on the outside, juicy and seasoned inside. Simple but DONE RIGHT.

🔥 Tostones — fried to perfection with a garlic oil dip 🔥 I was using these like chips scooping everything together… 10/10 move 🤤

Yeah… this was DIFFERENT 😳

It’s like flan + cheesecake had a baby and came out PERFECT. Smooth, rich, not too sweet… easily one of the best desserts I’ve had in a LONG time.

Great portions, amazing service, and legit authentic flavor.
