Happy Monday! It's a new week, so you know what that means?! A fresh shipment of bootheel peaches! Peaches will always be the flavor of summer to me. So if you want to enjoy the amazing taste of summer in the middle of winter, now's the time to stock up! We have 1/2 bushels (25 lbs) of freestone peaches for $55 while supplies last. Here's a few of my favorite ways to use/preserve them:
🍑Cobblers
🍑Pies
🍑Sliced over vanilla ice cream
🍑Jams
🍑Peach butter (this over ice cream is phenomenal)
🍑Frozen
🍑Grilled
🍑Syrup for sweet tea
🍑Halved and canned in a simple syrup

Attention to all the canners in the group- we have a great deal on corn this week! We brought in a whole bin of fresh corn today so if you're planning on putting some up for the winter, whether you can it or freeze it, now is a great time to stock up! Corn is $6 a dozen while supplies last! We are OPEN Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm. You can always call the farm stand directly at 417-866-5011 to confirm availability.

Good morning on this beautiful Saturday! I hope everyone had an amazing holiday. We've just been rocking and rolling here at the farm and we have all the amazing things in stock! We have fresh Missouri watermelon, cantaloupe, freestone peaches, corn, green beans, etc. Stop in and stock up for the week. We are OPEN Tuesday- Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm. Y'all have been asking and we're tired of watering so it's finally here... All annual flowers will be 1/2 price this weekend! This includes all bedding plants, veggie starters, hanging baskets and sitting pots.
What is not included: succulents, herbs and perennials.
Come see us this Friday (6/19), Saturday (6/20) and Sunday (6/21) to stock up on all your flower needs (and help us reduce our watering time... 😂)! 🌻

Dan and Steve are down in the bottom in the onion patch this week. If you haven't tried a candy onion, you're missing out! I don't know about you but with the weather warming up, I'll definitely be grabbing some of those reds to throw in a delicious pasta salad this week. 🧅

We have a few flowers that need to find their forever home. This weekend only, all Dahlias, Sun Impatiens and Shade Impatiens are half price! Sale prices will be as follows: Dahlias- originally $15, now $7.50; Individual Impatiens- originally $5, now $2.50; 4 packs of Impatiens- originally $4, now $2. "In a field full of green beans, be a sunflower!" - or something like that... 🌻

We have all kinds of beautiful things in the barn this week! If you're like me and have been impatiently waiting for the sunflowers to bloom, you're in luck! We have been picking these beauties and will have them available in the farm stand this weekend.

For all the canners that have been asking- green bean picking has begun! We have these picked and ready to put in the freezer or on the shelves. If you buy less than 14 pounds, they are $5/lb. If you're ready to get some put up for the winter and buy 14+ pounds (half a bushel or more), they are $2.50/lb. We are OPEN Tuesday- Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm. Dan and Steve are in the squash patch this week! Yellow squash and zucchini aren't the only things we've been picking on the farm though. Green beans, beets, and radishes are a few of the other things we've picked in the last week that can be found in the farm stand. We are OPEN Tuesday- Saturday, 10am-6pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm. 🫜🫜🫜

As farmers, it's rare that we go for too long without something breaking down on us or needing repairs. This week, we just wanted to give a shout out to Cory's for keeping us on the road! We know all too well that it can be hard to find a good, honest and reliable mechanic so if y'all need any work done, reach out to Cory's! I mean ya know they've gotta be good if Farmer Dan has given his seal of approval... 😃
