Check it out! Weāve made a huge addition to the farm. This unheated greenhouse will allow us to grow a little earlier in the spring, and later in the fall than a regular Missouri growing season. Thank you to my husband, dad Kevin Gillogly, father in law Danny Rinck, uncles Rusty Lynn, Margaret Gillogly Bishop, nephew, daughters, and neighbor who helped. Many winter weekends were spent, no major injuries occurred, and it looks incredible! Iām working on filling it up.
Iāve lived in Missouri my whole life, so I know this spring-like weather is a tease, but it sure has been nice!! Real spring will be here before you know it, and we are preparing to have some beautiful spring flowers! What spring flowers are you looking forward to?

Finished up adding 170 peony plants to our patch this morning! Nothing beats a fluffy peony! Iāve chosen a variety of whites, pinks, corals, reds, and yellows š¤šā£ļøā„ļøš Weāre planning ahead here, and will not get to reap the rewards for a bit. I plant bare roots, so year 1 will start slow, year 2 they grow, year 3 they show! So, mark your calendars, 3 springs from now we should be swimming in peonies!!
Winding down our season, and enjoying the last blooms, the dahlias are still going strong š Getting ready for next season. Weāve got a beautiful pile of compost to prep next years beds, and are getting some baby plants and bulbs in the ground for spring flowers!
