Born in Mexico and raised in California, Edgar Torres began his journey in the restaurant industry, where his appreciation for fine wine first took root. Driven by curiosity and passion, he taught himself the art of winemaking, apprenticing with some of Paso Robles’ top producers before founding Bodega de Edgar in 2007. Today, his wines reflect both his heritage and his dedication to quality, blending old-world Spanish inspiration with the bold character of California’s Central Coast.

Bodega de Edgar focuses on sustainable farming and minimal intervention in the cellar, allowing each varietal to express its true sense of place. The result is a portfolio of wines that are vibrant, balanced, and deeply personal — a true reflection of Edgar’s hands-on approach and creative spirit.
