Me and my lasagna soup… a love story 🍝
ok it’s rigatoni soup but that just sounds wrong.
Gloomy, dooomy, 70 degree day and I couldn’t be happier.
And if you too would like to make this it’s basically one pot pasta but add extra broth 😂. Ricotta on top and tons of basil is a must have.
PS: I would be fired by because I haven’t written a blog post in months 🥸

I can’t stop baking these dark chocolate chip pumpkin cookies🤤🎃 and I need everyone to make them too.
I tried it out in bread form this round and think I might like it even better! Also used Hu Kitchen dark chocolate baking gems and it made them extra extra chocolatey and delicious.
If you haven’t seen this before it’s the easiest recipe ever. It’s just one box of spiced cake mix, one can of pumpkin purée, and chocolate chips. I baked mine at 325 for 15 min.
Oh? I must try these new ones!

Cheese Burger Salad - yay or nay?
I’m a fan of eating the bun but also a fan of getting those greens and love a good salad!
Also, everyone in the Midwest right now not turning on your ovens, this one’s for you! 🫠🥵☀️
Burger sauce/ dressing—->
Diced onion and equal parts Mayo and ketchup (like thousand island dressing).
Add everything into the salad that you would to your burger. Tomatoes, onions, crunchy lettuce, avocado, bacon, endless options here! What’s not optional is a burger straight from the grill with a slice of American cheese! 😋

I’m really excited about the Aldi pizza dough! Will give a report back after I toss a pizza in the Ooni. Equally excited about the Mango Pico.

In case you missed this truly mouthwatering masterpiece, The Foundry has replaced the smoked brisket with bbq pulled pork 🤤 the same delicious mac and cheese but this time with house made bbq and pulled pork, topped with beer pickled red onions, shaved parm and garlic breadcrumbs.
[this also means the smoked brisket Mac and Cheese pizza is off the menu as well.]

The Charcuterie Cups for Mad Mac’s event… Mini homemade bagels, whipped chive cream cheese, local bacon from Heirloom Haus, cucumber, blackberry jam, aged white cheddar cheese, smoked Gouda, rustic red sharp cheddar, blueberries, peppers salami, capicola, procuito, and garlic breadsticks. I love customizing these! The little bagels were perfect for this brunch event with Mimosas and Bloody Marys.
