As September begins, I encourage you to step forward with purpose this month. September, also known as STEPtember, presents an opportunity to increase physical activity and raise awareness for cerebral palsy. I challenge all of you to aim for 10,000 steps daily. If you already achieve 10,000 steps, I ask that you strive for more. Remember, you are stepping for those who cannot step for themselves.

My goal this month is to unite our community and raise awareness for cerebral palsy (CP). Your participation will be crucial to this effort.

STEPtember isn’t just about accumulating steps; it’s about making meaningful progress toward a better future for individuals with cerebral palsy.

Thank the Boys & Girls Club Family Center for having us today! The back-to-school event was amazing. Everyone left smiling! They did their big one today, fried fish, hush puppies, hot dogs, hamburgers and fried chicken. Kids had ice cream, cotton candy, bounce house and LEMONADE. The club is on its way!
