Martindale's is most widely recognized as being the oldest natural foods store in the country. Regular customers and out-of-town visitors acclaim the personal service that they have received. You too will experience the same "care from the heart."Shop hard-to-find organic foods. Choose from paleo, gluten-free, non-GMO, keto, raw, fair trade, and ethically produced foods. Local foods are our priority. Get locally-produced dairy products such as local raw milk. That's hard to find but our farmers deliver continuously. Get local raw cheese, too. Yogurt, kefir, butter and cream are found here from local farms. All our eggs are local and you can find free-range and organic. Buy local beef in a variety of cuts: ground beef, beef patties, and more from our local farmers. We supply only organic produce and prefer local organic produce when in season. Taste the difference! Fresh from an hour or two away come unique varieties of your favorite vegetables, greens and fruit. Discover the joy of shopping in America's oldest health food store. Founded in 1869, we've been around Philly for over 150 years.

During this time of year, it is best to keep Oscillococcinum within arm's reach.🙋‍♀️

Boiron recommends taking it at the first onset of flu-like symptoms.🤧

Over the weekend, one of Martindale’s own, Monte, spearheaded the 2nd annual citywide Chester pride community cleanup.

The same excellence she brings to Martindale's was on full display in the streets of Chester.

Thanks to her efforts and all of the volunteers, the community received some well-deserved TLC.

To quote Monte, "It was a fabulous day full of fun and camaraderie with neighbors and friends."

Thank you Monte for your leadership and dedication to the community.

🤖 What can the Holy Grail, an ancient warning about Moloch, and a talking bronze head possibly teach us about artificial intelligence?

Maybe more than we think.

As AI becomes more powerful and more present in our everyday lives, an old question feels remarkably timely: Who does it serve?

From human connection and jobs to data centers, the natural world, and the things we may not want to surrender in the name of progress, our latest article looks beyond what AI can do and asks something deeper.

Perhaps the future isn't about competing with machines.

Perhaps it's about remembering what it means to be human. ❤️

Why settle for just one form of magnesium? 🌿

Black Earth Magnesium Essential Nine by The Food Movement takes a multi-form approach, bringing together nine different forms of magnesium in one formula.

And there’s more beneath the surface. 🌎https://www.martindalesnutrition.com/products/black-earth-magnesium-essential-nine-why-nine-forms

The formula also features Black Earth® Minerals, including humic acid, fulvic acid, and 70+ trace mineral elements.

According to the manufacturer, the nine forms include magnesium bisglycinate, citrate, malate, taurinate, Sucrosomial® magnesium, and more—each selected for its different characteristics within the formula.

Nine forms. 70+ trace mineral elements. One interesting approach to magnesium.

Curious about what makes each form different? Stop by our Supplement Department and check out Black Earth Magnesium Essential Nine at Martindales!
