Washington County Cattlemen’s Association - KY Washington County Cattlemen's Association's mission is to advocate for cattle producers throughout the county.

This is done in coordination with Kentucky Cattlemen's Assn, and local extension service to educate both producers and consumers in the area.

Bull Value Assessment Program
The Bull Value Assessment Program will be held at the Hardin County Extension Office and will include two educational sessions covering:

Factors to consider when purchasing a bull
Bull breed type and breeding soundness
Tools for selecting a bull
Bull nutrition and health

The program will be led by Dr. Darrh Bullock and the University of Kentucky Beef Specialist Team.

Calling All Artificial Insemination (AI) Technicians in Kentucky!

We are creating a statewide Artificial Insemination (AI) Technician Resource List to help beef cattle producers easily find AI services in their area.
One of the biggest limitations to using AI in beef cattle is simply access to a trained technician. To help address this, we are developing a new resource page on the UK AFS / Beef IRM website where producers will be able to search by county and find AI technicians who provide breeding services in their area.

🔹 Each listing will include:
• Name
• County
• Contact information (email, cell phone)
• A short description of services offered
