Rising Sons Beef We sell high quality, Kentucky homegrown beef. Check out our prices in the photos section of our page. We do not buy calves from the
market.

- We take great pride in making sure that you
enjoy the beef you are eating. To do that, all
of our beef is bred,born and raised on our
own farm. This ensures that we know the
product that we
are providing.
- All of our beef is antibiotic, steroid, and
hormone (ASH) free. Our desire is for our
beef to be as natural as possible. Of course
there are still diseases

that cattle are
susceptible to and we manage this from a
preventative standpoint. We have
implemented practices that allow us to prevent
health problems instead of reacting to them
when they occur. We will still have an
occasional sick calf. We treat as long as
possible without medication but we will use
antibiotics when necessary instead of letting
the animal suffer. At this point, that particular
animal is no longer eligible to be sold as beef
and marketed accordingly.
- All of our beef is USDA inspected to insure the
safety of the meat that will be consumed. We
have frequent random testing by the USDA for
random E. coli and to this day have never had
any cases.
- We guarantee that all of our beef will have a
quality grade of at least choice. This ensures
that the beef has the proper fat content and
marbling to be a tender, tasty meal that will be
consistent every time you purchase from us.
- All of our beef is raised on pasture during
the summer and hay during the winter, then
finished on grain. The beef grows on a natural
diet and then are finished on grain which
enables us to ensure that they are on a
balanced diet which allows them to finish and
grade out choice. This guarantees that you
get the same great taste, tenderness and
satisfaction every time you have our product.
- All of our beef is dry aged for tenderness;
vacuum packed and frozen for preservation
because there are no other additives or
preservatives.

The fall herd was pretty happy to get moved down the road to fresh grass! The spring herd (not pictured) was also moved to summer pasture the other day as well. Providing the highest quality of beef starts with taking the highest care of the cow herd
