The thing we missed the most from South Africa (besides family and friends of course!) was boerewors (directly translated, this is farmer’s sausage).

Ayoba's mission: to introduce a more delicious and nutritious alternative to the typical meat snack, by using only the finest premium cuts of beef, seasoned with natural spices, in order to create the highest quality beef snacks in the United States. On each visit back to South Africa this would be the first stop on the way from the airport – we want boerewors. This was a temporary fix however and

we decided to attempt to make our own. We started mixing spices. Family and friends were subjected to tasting each batch and giving us suggestions and slowly we adapted the spices until we found the perfect mix. Thanks for visiting our page!
