Our bakery team got to take a field trip to Askinosie Chocolate and dive into the sweet world of chocolate making. From learning about the history and processes the company goes through to ensure the highest quality chocolate with no fillers and additives, to getting to meet the man behind one of Springfield’s favorite chocolate bars, we learned so much and can’t wait to apply this knowledge and passion to our own baked goods at MaMa Jean’s. Thank you Shawn for having us and giving us the opportunity to go behind the scenes at your factory. Our newest locally fermented products come straight from Seymour, MO! We’ll be sampling Crunchy Cultures at Farmers Market of the Ozarks THIS SATURDAY from 8-1 during the farmers market, come stop by our booths and say hi and try some locally fermented deliciousness!

Crunchy Cultures was founded by Anna Hill and specializes in krauts, kimchi, kombucha and more. Always handmade in small batches, these fermented foods not only taste delicious but are amazing for your gut health. Thanks for being a part of our community, Anna!

We took a trip to The Safe Spoon | Allergen-Free Café to pick Katrina’s brain on everyone’s favorite allergen-friendly, locally made baked goods and mixes sold at MaMa Jean’s, also known as Sensitively Sweet!
