Today I baked up these Orange Speculaas Cats. Crispy, crunchy kitties. I use an authentic recipe from a bakery in Bruges, Belgium and the orange zest gives them a flavor that's out of this world. :)

Teeny tiny Lemon Springerle out of the Heritage Ovens today. Here they are before and after they bake. They rise so much in the oven I just stand and watch - I can't help myself!

This is in celebration of National Honey Bee day in the US and to thank the bees for making all of our delicious honey products and honey for our cookies. This is one of my queen bees, surrounded by her colony. These girls never cease to amaze me. 🐝🐝🐝

Lemon Springerle made with this beautiful mold hand-carved by a master carver in Hungary. It's such a lovely, traditional pattern with the pomegranates.

I'm posting these Sugar Cookies with Buttercream Frosting to celebrate National Sugar Cookie Day in the US. Did you know that was today? :) I made these with a really nice cookie mold I brought back from a trip we made to Germany.

It's a wrap on this honey harvest, so I thought I'd show you how it ended. :) I'm bottling up half-gallon jars and we came in at about 110 lbs. That's a lot of Heritage Honey! OK, now it's time to bake.

I thought I'd give you all a preview of the 2026 honey harvest! :) This is a beautiful frame full of honey with a few of the girls hanging out with me. Soon this will be bottled up and ready to eat. 🐝🐝🐝
