Well, that's a wrap on The Muni season, as much as those soft, fluffy buns are a wrap on me! What a great summer I've had, being devoured by you! The Springfield theater crowd has the best dawg munchers around. I can't wait for the opening of "Mama Mia," the first show of the Muni's 76th season, and I am, ahem, chomping at the bun to learn what the following three shows will be!

I can't decide about what I'm more stoked: The opening of "Oklahoma!" on July 11 at The Muni, or anticipating the multiple Original Muni Dogs -- each with my choice of condiments -- which I'll devour while enjoying this timeless Broadway classic!

Why, yes! I'll have an Original Muni Dog while watching "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" at The Muni June 21-22 and 25-28 at 8:30 p.m. In fact, I'll have an Original Muni Dog during Act I and then have another Original Muni Dog during Act II!

"SOMETHING ROTTEN" goes up again tonight, running through Sunday with an 8:30 p.m. curtain. Dog highly recommends this show -- it's Shakespeare (and his detractors) like you've never seen them!

The Muni, the Springfield Municipal Opera Association, is a community theatre organization in Springfield, Illinois. The muni presents four lavish broadway musical productions in an outdoor amphitheater each summer.
