This Saturday, May 23rd, we've got you covered 1pm to 5pm! Your favorite wines will be poured and we will be releasing our 2025 Pinot Gris Rosé. This dry beauty is deliciously fruity and floral, and pairs perfectly with the rising Spring temperatures and sunshine. Very much a drink-now style of Rosé, it will be chilled and waiting for your glass! Consider your Saturday afternoon plans locked-in!

Wine Brownies! What? Absolutely! Our friends at .and.things are crafting wine brownies that will include our 2024 Tempest Red Blend, a crowd-favorite made with Merlot, Malbec, and Syrah. These delicious treats will be just a small part of what will be a fun afternoon at Ba'yoami Wellness & Spa. Enjoy this fun Open House and shopping deals with local businesses including massage, spa treatments, wine, skin treatments, photography & videography, sweets, realty and more!

All are invited! Admission is free, and you can expect drinks, small bites, wine tasting (including fresh NEW Strawberry Wine), raffles, and great company.

We don't have a time machine, but during this stormy week, we have put Spring and Summer 2026 into bottles. The robust Rosé of Grenache is proving to be a luscious, full-bodied treat that has flavors of ripe, wild strawberries. And for the first time ever at Freytag Cellars, this is a slightly off-dry Rosé, bringing a measure of sweetness to the palate. This will be a stunning new offering in the "Dos Amigos" line-up. Also finding its home this week is a Rosé of Pinot Gris, crafted from the lovely Elkton, Oregon AVA. Can you see why we are looking forward to Spring? We can't wait to share these and other new wines with you!

And what about that now-opened, post-bottling tank space? Production will begin on the next batch of the beloved Strawberry Wine, and coming back by popular demand, the delicious Blackberry Wine. There's many good things to come as we close out 2025 and look to 2026!

The First Saturday of the Month is upon us! The McKenzie Crest Wines label is closing out at the end of this year and winery operations will continue under the Freytag Cellars family label. Join us for tomorrow's drop-in, 1pm to 5pm, and enjoy some delicious wines and warm, small bites! Two distinct flights are available featuring both the Freytag Cellars and McKenzie Crest labels, with the MCW label being a whopping 50% off!

Saturday, December 6th, you are invited to come and sip wine in Thurston on the First Saturday of the Month! As many are aware, the McKenzie Crest Wines label will be ending its production, and the winery will continue forward as beginning January 1, 2026. In celebration, at December's , 1pm to 5pm, you can sample wines from the McKenzie Crest label AND Freytag Cellars. Steep discounts will be available for remaining McKenzie Crest offerings! You will also have an opportunity to learn about the Freytag Cellars Wine Club and the perks/discounts you can enjoy now and in the future. So come on out and sip some delicious wine, enjoy some some small bites, and mingle with FC wine club members who will be enjoying their quarterly wine pick-up!

And to address some frequent (and good!) questions...YES! Freytag Cellars will continue to produce favored varietals such as Barbera, Marechal Foch (including from our Walterville vineyard) and others that people have come to associate with McKenzie Crest. The label is changing, but the winemakers and awesome team will remain the same!

As the weather cools down, it's time to dive into some delicious red wines. However, fear not! The White, Rosé, and Strawberry options will still be on hand to start your flight!

A busy wine weekend is just ahead in Vida! Complimentary pours, and wine sold by the glass, will be available at the "Rooted In Heritage" Art Opening, Saturday night at the Vida McKenzie Community Center 7PM to 9PM! And the pouring continues on Sunday, 11AM to 4PM, as we support the upcoming "Marriage on the McKenzie" Open House. Visit beautiful wedding and event venues on a tour up the McKenzie River. Wines will be poured at Gate Creek Ranch and the Vida McKenzie Community Center!
