📢 **A MESSAGE FROM NANA’S COUNTRY KITCHEN**

I want to take a moment to address a recent situation involving Nana’s Country Kitchen.

Someone contacted the health department after expressing a concern that we were selling hot wings prepared from a home kitchen. I want to clarify that

**not every food-related post or photo shared on this page represents food that is, or ever was, available for sale.**

In particular, the post containing a picture of chicken wings **did not state that the wings were for sale, did not include a price, and did not provide any ordering information.** Food photos may be shared simply to showcase something I have made, enjoyed, or prepared for reasons unrelated to selling.

For clarity, **items that are regularly offered for sale by Nana’s Country Kitchen fall under Colorado’s Cottage Foods Law.** All items currently offered for sale are labeled according to the applicable cottage food requirements.

‼️I am also **food-safety certified and hold a valid Food Handler’s Certificate for the State of Colorado.**‼️

I also want our community to know that **all foods currently being offered for sale are part of a fundraiser to help fund Ae’Vah’s trip to Washington, D.C., next summer with her fellow student peers.** ❤️🇺🇸

We are incredibly grateful for the support our community has shown us. Your support helps make this opportunity possible for Ae’Vah, while also allowing Nana’s Country Kitchen to continue offering **satisfying, homemade treats for you all to enjoy!** 🧁🍪❤️
