Boccardi's Italian Imports is an established Italian restaurant and mini mart/grab n go including a wide variety of authentic Italian meats, cheeses, breads, vinegar, oils, dry goods, prepared pastas, pizzas and salads. Customers will have the option to take meals home or they may call ahead and request their meals to be cooked in our kitchen and ready for pickup. Boccardi's officially opened its

doors on August 16th, ironically the 40th anniversary of the opening of Lou Boccardi's on the Hill. This date is coinsidentally the birth date of Nona Maria, for whom Maria was named. Hours of operation will be Tuesday through Saturday, 10am-6pm and Saturday 10am-3pm. Special wine tasting and food sampling events accompanied with light entertainment will be forthcoming. Assorted European wines and beer will be available for package purchase. Our store is wheelchair accessible. HISTORY:
Boccardi's had its beginning when Maria's father, the late Luigi (Lou) Boccardi came to the Hill in St. Louis from his home in Naples, Italy in 1964. Lou was a genius in the art of preparing delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Within a few years, he established the famed Lou Boccardi's Restaurant on Magnolia Avenue in St. Dining at Boccardi's has been a pleasure shared by thousands from every corner of the world. The goal of Boccardi's Italian Imports is to bring the pleasures of delicious Italian food and "The Tast of the Hill" to the Springfield community.
